Willy & Jabbok Schlacks founded Takeoff Capital to create the type of investor they would have wanted when they were building EquipmentShare.

The brothers grew up in a rural commune in Missouri without access to technology where private ownership was banned among its members.

Separating from the commune in 2010, the Schlacks brothers were well-versed in the business world. They got an early start in the construction industry, having actively built companies since their early teens.

Co-founders of EquipmentShare, the brothers have an aptness for identifying and scaling con-tech ideas.
